Had the opportunity to listen and speak with Delaine Eastin, former California State Superintendent of Public Instruction on Thursday, October 20, 2016. She is so knowledgable, witty, intuitive and focused on building better educational systems and environments for all of our California children, and she spoke eloquently about the need to focus on a child’s socio-emotional development as an essential component to their development.
